Job summary

Kemco Facilities Services is seeking a Site Manager in Birmingham, AL to oversee daily janitorial operations at client sites. You will supervise staff, ensure quality control, manage equipment and supplies, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required to maintain client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Monday–Friday, full-time position with standard benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; cert in facilities management is a plus.
• 3–5 years in janitorial or facilities management, healthcare facility preferred.
• Experience leading cleaning teams and managing supplies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cleaning staff, ensure schedules and policies are followed.
• Conduct daily inspections and resolve issues to meet standards.
• Provide staff training to improve performance and quality.
• Schedule tasks based on operations and budgets.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and client satisfaction with proactive communication.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure equipment readiness.
• Perform safety audits and ensure PPE usage and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary client contact for janitorial services and reports.
