Job summary

Performanceaircompressorsolutions in Tampa is seeking a Service Operations Manager to direct and coordinate all air compressor service activities at the Tampa Branch, including installations and field service.

You will schedule technicians, respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotes for projects, and monitor invoicing and WIP across air, installs, and CNG. You'll lead a team, partner with parts and HR as needed, and ensure safe, efficient operations aligned with company values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–7 years of service/management experience (industrial experience preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to oversee an hourly technical workforce.
• Proven ability to manage scheduling, invoicing, and project quotations in a service operation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate service activities for the Tampa Branch, including installations and field service.
• Schedule service technicians daily and manage maintenance agreements.
• Respond to service-related calls and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Prepare quotations for service projects and follow up regularly.
• Invoicing, WIP reporting, and ensuring parts availability for service jobs.
• Input service data in business systems and monitor department goals.
• Lead and develop direct reports, ensuring adherence to policies and safety standards.
