Qualifications

• Must have the ability to obtain a Class B CDL and the ability to drive Class 8 trucks.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Have knowledge and expertise in using and servicing tools.
• Must have excellent reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive, helpful and professional attitude to our customer. Meet or exceed the customer expectation of repair at all times.
• Review daily operating control report.
• Maintain a daily control sheet of repair orders for reference.
• Review open repair order report weekly.
• Supervise daily general clean-up of service department.
• Comply with all safety requirements set forth.
• Hire and dismiss service department personnel as required.
• Maintain the proper level of personnel to achieve customer satisfaction and company labor sales objectives.
• Define training needs for each individual and maintain training files of each individual.
• Hold bi-weekly service meetings with all service personnel, review all bulletins and updates from OEMs, solicit any service problems from employees' which are company related.
• Perform yearly evaluations one on one with each service employee.
• Produce a profitable department and control expenses.
• Review monthly financial statements to measure the results and control of your department.
