Job summary

You will develop annual budgets, supervise technicians, coordinate with Sales and Parts, monitor performance, and maintain warranty and safety programs, while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, continuing course in Management also required.
• Minimum four years as a mechanic and at least 2 years as a shop foreman or lead mechanic.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must operate computer terminals with basic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow annual service budget based on labor hours attainable and measurable.
• Provide leadership for recruitment, screening, hiring, training, and development of service personnel.
• Audit work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing.
• Schedule and assign jobs and work areas to employees to minimize downtime.
• Ensure warranty, safety, emission, and product improvement programs are completed timely.
• Meet monthly with Sales and Parts to optimize inter-departmental cooperation and customer satisfaction.
