Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment is seeking a Service Manager to lead the Service department, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations. You will oversee mechanics, diagnose truck components, and assign repair tasks while communicating with drivers and owners.

The role requires a minimum high school diploma, a CDL, and strong interpersonal skills. You will manage repair orders, schedule work, and ensure quality and safety in daily operations at a multi-location dealership.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose all truck components and communicate repairs clearly.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Ability to read computer-generated reports, invoices, and office documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the service department operations for safety, efficiency, and profitability.
• Supervise mechanics and assign jobs based on skills to minimize downtime.
• Provide repair cost estimates and communicate with drivers/owners about problems and solutions.
• Road test and dyno test trucks to verify repairs are complete.
