Job summary

Cal-Line Equipment is seeking an Operations Manager to run a profitable service department, oversee staffing, and ensure high-quality customer service. The role includes managing invoices, warranties, parts orders, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a branch/dealership environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in branch or dealership operations, P&L management, and strong leadership with vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a branch/store/dealership environment (equipment, automotive or related industry preferred).
• Experience managing P&L and interpreting financial statements, budgets, and KPIs.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, dealership management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and employee development skills; excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming service customers for walk around inspection and document complaints and repairs.
• Delegate and direct service tasks, monitor progress of projects and ensure quality.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and safety standards and manage warranties and invoices.
• Prepare estimates, order parts, track ETAs, and update work orders with status.
• Hire, train, motivate, and monitor service department staff; report progress to management.
