Job summary

Rentix Solutions in the United States is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service department, oversee shop and field operations, and drive customer satisfaction. You will manage maintenance, repairs, and inspections, while directing technicians and controlling costs.

The role requires strong leadership and industry knowledge. As a Service Manager, you will be the primary contact for customers, provide estimates, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and DOT.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in a heavy equipment, truck, or industrial service environment, including supervisory or management experience.
• Proficiency with computer systems, diagnostic software, and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting heavy equipment and truck systems preferred.
• Class B CDL preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shop and field service operations, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Prioritize and schedule work orders to maximize technician productivity.
• Serve as primary contact for service customers; provide estimates and status updates.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate service technicians; conduct performance reviews.
• Monitor profitability, labor utilization, and operating expenses; enforce safety policies.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies.
