Job summary

United Ag & Turf, a John Deere dealership, seeks a Service Operations Manager to lead the service department and optimize workflows across locations in TX, OK, and AR. You will drive service labor sales, manage the work order lifecycle, and ensure high customer satisfaction through effective coaching and process improvement.

Responsibilities include scheduling, billing accuracy, warranty compliance, and fostering teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in Service Department operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to lead a team and hold people accountable.
• Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
• Understanding of financial principles related to service operations.
• Ability to analyze internal reports and extend hours/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages the entire work order cycle from creation to invoicing.
• Sells service labor and parts to keep techs productive and budgets met.
• Collaborates with Service Manager on process improvements.
• Enforces service department processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Schedules and assigns jobs based on staff skills and workload.
• Reviews work orders for accuracy before billing.
• Ensures warranty programs are completed and submitted timely.
• Keeps tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.
• Coaches and develops employees; promotes training and growth.
• Upholds company values and maintains strong internal relationships.
