Job summary

Stowers is seeking a Service Manager to direct and coordinate customer service, growing service revenue and maintaining strong customer relations across the branch network. The role oversees mechanics, pricing, and reporting to the General Manager while ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree in business or a technical field, experience leading teams, and a track record of meeting sales targets. Caterpillar experience preferred; on-site role in Florida operations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with Service Managers, GMs, Executives, and direct reports.
• Ensure company expectations are clearly communicated and met.
• Report branch performance to management and address issues promptly.
• Participate in Service Manager meetings and initiatives.
• Relay HR updates and training initiatives to branch staff.
• Directly manage Mechanics and Service staff at the branch.
• Review service, parts, and rental performance monthly with leadership; implement improvements.
• Visit customers as needed to maintain relationships.
• Ensure safety plans and protocols are followed; lead safety meetings in the branch.
• Oversee CRM adoption and payroll software usage; coordinate training programs.
