Position

ServiceNow Software Engineer – Contract through Magnit – Jackson, Michigan (Hybrid; on-site reporting occasionally). Only Michigan residents considered.

Base Pay Range

$70.00/hr – $80.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Build, implement and maintain ServiceNow modules.
• Perform analysis and refine system requirements and designs.
• Ensure rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of ServiceNow.
• Build complex ServiceNow workflows and catalog items.
• Participate in design and code reviews for other members of the development team.
• Support complex integrations to and from ServiceNow.
• Identify, develop, deploy, and provide post‑implementation support of infrastructure and/or application technologies to support the company’s business requirements.
• Apply principles, methods, and procedures for designing, developing, optimizing, and integrating new and/or reusable systems components.
• Perform prototyping, design, development, testing, debugging, documentation and implementation of software applications in an agile environment.
• Work with a cross‑functional team to implement and deliver that include agile methodologies.

Skills

• Must have experience creating ServiceNow update sets and workflows, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
• ServiceNow build and maintenance experience is preferred for the following ServiceNow Modules:
• IT Service Management – Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Release and Discovery Modules
• IT Operations Management – Event Management and Discovery Modules
• Security Operations – Vulnerability Response Module
• Intelligent Apps – Automated Testing Framework Module
• Knowledge Management, Service Portals, CMDB, Service Catalog and Analytics
• Experience with complex integrations including VeraSmart, SAP, and Clarity.
• Experience working with APIs (inbound/outbound).

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other IT‑related area).
• Candidate should have 5 years of IT Operations and build experience with ServiceNow enterprise environment.

Hourly Pay Rate Range

$70.00/hr – $80.00/hr
