Job summary

White Oak in Downtown Atlanta, GA is seeking a Service Manager to lead from the floor and uphold gracious hospitality in an upscale setting on Peachtree Street. You will run service periods, coach the FOH team, and own daily operations with room to grow within our multi-concept group.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in service management in full-service restaurants, strong communication, and experience with restaurant systems such as Toast and MarginEdge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a service manager or senior FOH leadership role in a full-service restaurant.
• A polished, calm floor presence and a genuine love of hospitality.
• Wine and/or beer knowledge preferred; cocktail program familiarity valued.
• Experience training and developing service teams.
• Proficiency with restaurant systems; Toast, MarginEdge, and AI tools a plus.
• Strong communication skills with both guests and staff.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the business requires.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily service operations, running the floor during lunch, dinner, and private events.
• Coach, train, and hold the service team to White Oak's steps of service and hospitality standards.
• Manage opening and closing duties, floor plans, and section assignments.
• Handle guest concerns in the moment with grace and sound judgment.
• Support scheduling, staffing, and hiring for front-of-house positions.
• Partner with the culinary and bar teams to keep service smooth and communication tight.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost controls for front-of-house operations.
• Contribute to a culture of servant leadership, accountability, and genuine care.

ABOUT WHITE OAK

White Oak is downtown Atlanta's home for refined Southern hospitality. Our culinary program is rooted in Southern cooking with Southern European influence, paired with a thoughtful cocktail and wine program in a warm, polished setting on Peachtree Street. White Oak is part of Brewed To Serve Restaurant Group, an Atlanta-based, locally owned company celebrating 30 years of creating authentic hospitality experiences — a family of concepts that also includes Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery and Bold Monk Brewing Co.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Service Manager who leads from the floor. You'll run service periods, coach and develop our front-of-house team, and uphold the standard of gracious, detail-driven hospitality our guests expect. This is a great role for a strong AGM, senior captain, or current service manager ready to take real ownership in an upscale, high-standards environment — with room to grow within a multi-concept group.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
