Job summary

Titan Security is seeking a highly technical, hands-on Service Manager to lead our Chicago security systems service operations. You will elevate a traditional service coordination role into a technical leadership position, driving enterprise-level support across access control, CCTV/VMS, and low-voltage systems.

You will grow and mentor a high-caliber service team, oversee field technicians and support staff, and develop proactive maintenance programs to expand recurring revenue.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years hands-on technical experience in electronic security systems, low-voltage systems, or security systems integration.
• Proven leadership: experience managing field service technicians, dispatchers, or technical support teams.
• Deep system expertise with enterprise Access Control (LenelS2, Genetec, Software House) and VMS platforms.
• Strong diagnostic, operational management, and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: act as the resident technical authority across access control, CCTV/VMS platforms, and integrated low-voltage systems; provide escalation support for complex field issues; ensure teams are trained for enterprise, multi-site environments.
• Service Operations & Delivery: lead day-to-day service operations; oversee scheduling, dispatching, prioritization for reactive and preventive maintenance; standardize workflows, SLAs, and escalation protocols; lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Client Experience & Recurring Revenue: act as executive escalation point for enterprise accounts; build and manage preventive maintenance programs and service contracts; collaborate with Account Managers on upgrades and recurring revenue opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Operations & Analytics: coordinate with Project Management and Installation teams; give feedback to engineering and sales to improve system design; track KPIs like response times, technician utilization, and client satisfaction.
