Job summary

Titan Electronics, the systems integration arm of Titan Security Group, seeks an experienced Level III Security Systems & Low Voltage Field Technician in Chicago. You will lead complex installations, testing, and programming for commercial clients, handling IP CCTV, access control, and structured cabling while mentoring junior techs on site.

You will configure networks, coordinate with project managers, and perform commissioning, training, and sign-offs with precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on field experience with commercial security systems.
• Strong proficiency in networking basics (TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting) and security software platforms.
• Certifications in Genetec, Lenel, S2, Avigilon or similar are preferred; OSHA 10/30; PERC capable.

Responsibilities

• Lead installations, testing, programming, and complex troubleshooting for on-site clients.
• Mentor Level I & II technicians and serve as primary on-site contact for PMs.
• Configure IP addresses, networks, and CCTV/VMS software for integrated systems.
• Perform commissioning, customer training, and sign-offs with detailed work orders.
