Job summary

Carleton Living is seeking a Service Manager for The Duvall in Grand Prairie, TX. Lead the maintenance team to manage preventative programs and ensure high service quality for 265-unit property.

You will supervise trades, handle plumbing/electrical tasks, perform paint and carpentry, and coordinate safety/training with the Community Manager to keep the property well-maintained and resident-focused.

Qualifications

• EPA Type II Certification or greater (HVAC certified).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license preferred but not required.
• At least 4 years of maintenance experience in apartments.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to drive a vehicle; valid license and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the maintenance team, assigning work and tasks.
• Complete maintenance work orders including plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Perform plumbing/electrical tasks and basic inspections; repair and replace fixtures.
• Paint interior/exterior and perform light carpentry and drywall repairs.
• Assist with custodial and landscape tasks as time permits.
• Coordinate safety reviews and training; communicate with Community Manager.
