Job summary

Capital Square Living is seeking a Service Manager to oversee maintenance and ensure the community meets CS Living’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will manage work orders, coordinate vendors, and supervise the make-ready process for new residents.

This role emphasizes customer service, cost control, and proactive maintenance across common areas and unit interiors at the properties. Onsite work with a focus on safety and quality is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or related experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders and resident requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant apartments, coordinate vendors, and ensure timely turnover.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, interiors, and common areas to reflect CS Living quality.
• Inspect team and contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain inventory and collaborate with the Community Manager on budgets and supplies.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks and seek cost-saving repairs where possible.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and respond to maintenance inquiries promptly.
