Job summary

Capital Square Living is seeking a Service (Maintenance) Specialist to perform technical work ensuring buildings and common areas meet standards for safety, cleanliness and functionality. You will diagnose issues, complete preventive maintenance, assist in preparing units for move-ins, and help maintain grounds and amenities.

The role emphasizes a strong customer service mindset, teamwork, and the ability to respond promptly to resident requests in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to apply principles of logical thinking to diagnose and fix issues.
• Excellent organizational skills and a customer service mindset.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication to interact with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Makes repairs in accordance with policies, safety standards and codes.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing and new move-ins.
• Obtains supplies and materials and inspects completed work.
• Maintains grounds, common areas and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Conducts routine property inspections to identify safety concerns.
• Responds to questions and resolves concerns from residents and clients.
