Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach electricians, ensuring adherence to our systems and standards.
• Direct oversight of performance and sales activities of the team.

• Ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.
• Lead weekly team meetings to discuss pipeline, challenges, and safety compliance.
• Develop customer rapport to effectively sell products and services.
• Coordinate with customer service and dispatch to drive business success.
• Manage team schedules to meet demand and seasonal spikes.
• Control service work within budget constraints and produce department reports.
• Recruit and onboard new electricians; manage truck stock and vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

• Heavy emphasis on being capable of following specific systems and coaching technicians to those systems – this is the key to being successful in this position
• Direct oversight of electricians' performance and sales activities
• Lead and train team members using our established and proven system
• Monitor field technicians' performance and provide guidance for improvement
• Understand sales criteria and ensure your team consistently exceeds revenue goals
• Hosting weekly team meetings to discuss the service pipeline, address challenges, uphold performance standards, and reinforce safety compliance
• Coach electricians on building customer rapport to effectively sell the right products and services
• Collaborate with customer service and dispatch teams to drive overall business success
• Manage team schedules to meet ongoing customer demand and adapt to seasonal spikes
• Managing service work to stay within budget constraints
• Developing and producing reports on department performance, quality, and efficiency
• Recruitment and comprehensive onboarding of new electricians
• Collaboration with electricians on truck stock management and vehicle policy compliance

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in a Service, Sales or equivalent management position – industry specific experience is not necessary
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Customer-first mindset with a history of high customer service standards
• Technical proficiency in work order management and reporting systems
• Experience in strategic planning and financial management
• Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking
• Meticulous attention to detail, especially in financial and safety matters
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities
• Openness to continuous learning and improvement
• Demonstrates initiative and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Eligibility to clear background checks and drug screening tests

Salary Range

$90,000 - $115,000 base + performance bonuses from $20,000 - $50,000 per year.
