Independence Realty Trust Inc. is hiring a Service Manager for the IRT Living community at 1250 West. You will oversee a team of technicians, coordinate maintenance, and ensure high-quality service for residents while fostering a professional, collaborative environment.

You will lead scheduling, training, and troubleshooting, maintain budget discipline, and drive resident satisfaction in a stable, growth-focused company. A strong emphasis is placed on leadership and customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• EPA Type I and II certifications required; CPO preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 45 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally; push/pull up to 200 lbs.
• Professional appearance with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must attend a company-paid, multi-day, out-of-state training within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Community and Regional Managers on maintenance strategies and initiatives.
• Lead, train, and support the service team to ensure top performance.
• Prioritize and delegate work orders for timely, efficient completion.
• Set the standard by assisting with troubleshooting and service requests.
• Ensure budget compliance while delivering exceptional service and resident satisfaction.
