Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Service Manager in Michigan to lead the on-site maintenance team and oversee all apartment maintenance activities. You will coordinate with the Community Manager on budgeting and vendor relations while ensuring safety and compliance across the property.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair, with a focus on timely service and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and inspire the on-site maintenance team.
• Manage all aspects of apartment maintenance from HVAC and plumbing to carpentry and appliance repair.
• Coordinate with budgeting, project planning, and vendor relations with the Community Manager.
• Ensure safety protocols and Fair Housing compliance.
