Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Service Manager in Minnesota to lead a high-performance service operation. You’ll train and develop the Orkin Pros, balancing technical pest-control know-how with strong people skills to earn customer trust.

You’ll manage scheduling, safety, recruitment, and ride-along programs while delivering world-class service and community involvement as part of a respected nationwide leader in pest control.

Qualifications

• Field Service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to coach and mentor employees at varying experience levels.
• At least two years of lead experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead an entire service operation upon completion of paid training.
• Motivate the service team to consistently provide the world’s best service, prioritizing safety.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with recruiting top talent on the service team.
• Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands-on management.
• Lead training meetings.
• Oversee our Orkin Pro Ride-A-Long program.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections, proposed course of action, and delivery of outstanding empathetic customer service every time.
• Champion innovation by supporting the team in adopting new products, services and technology.
• Monitor scheduling, routing and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity.
