Job summary

EAG Ford Mount Pleasant in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a Service Manager to run our service department. This leadership role offers real ownership of the department's gross, the customer experience, and the growth of our people.

You will manage the day-to-day service drive, P&L, CSI, and technician development while partnering with parts, sales, and the general manager to keep the store running smoothly. Join an 8-store group with growth opportunities and solid training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing or assistant-managing a dealership service department.
• Ford experience is a strong plus.
• Proficient with a DMS (CDK, Reynolds, or similar) and reading financial statements.
• A leader people want to work for: direct, fair, and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day operation of the service drive, shop, and appointment process.
• Own the service P&L: labor and parts gross, effective labor rate, hours per RO, technician proficiency, and expense control.
• Hire, train, and develop advisors and technicians, building a bench for coverage.
• Set daily and monthly goals with the advisor team and conduct impactful one-on-ones.
• Drive CSI and online reviews by fixing issues right the first time.
• Maintain a loaded shop through effective dispatching and follow-up.
• Manage Ford warranty policy, claims, and recalls; prep for audits.
• Partner with parts, sales, and GM to keep the store running smoothly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, compliant shop.
