PALFINGER is seeking a Service Manager for the Forest Park area to lead shop and field service operations. You will train technicians, schedule staff, and manage branch expenses while ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication and technical knowledge of Palfinger products, plus experience managing a team and collaborating across locations. A customer‑focused, entrepreneurial mindset is essential.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in broad/general shop/service management or 10 years in truck/crane equipment industry.
• Strong computer skills, including Windows Word/Excel/PowerPoint and CRM usage.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of Palfinger products and related equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Apply knowledge of Palfinger products and other key suppliers to service operations.
• Train and assist technicians on products and PUSA services.
• Schedule in‑house and field technicians for the location.
• Approve and manage expenses for daily branch operations.
• Review workload plans, labor, and customer needs for current and future periods.
• Collaborate with other locations to meet customer needs.
• Strive for zero defects on service and maintain customer base knowledge.
• Track service activities through the company CRM system and maintain WIP.
• Produce quotes aligning customer expectations with costs.
• Report to PUSA’s Service Manager and operate with minimal supervision.
