Job summary

Reliable Heating & Air, based in the Atlanta area, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead and develop the residential service team. You will oversee daily service operations, coach technicians, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure departmental performance goals are achieved.

This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for developing people within a fast-growing home service company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, service operations, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ServiceTitan and Microsoft Office preferred
• Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes and industry best practices
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support HVAC Service Technicians to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
• Manage daily scheduling and service operations in partnership with dispatch.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop technicians.
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Conduct technician training, evaluations, and team meetings.
• Collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal departments to resolve service issues.
• Manage departmental goals, budgets, and profitability.
• Review work orders, invoices, and service documentation for accuracy.
• Support sales growth through service agreements, customer solutions, and lead generation.
• Ensure company policies, fleet standards, and safety requirements are maintained
