Job summary

Reliable Heating & Air is seeking an experienced HVAC technician for full-time residential installations in Lawrenceville, GA. The role emphasizes leadership on install crews, adherence to safety and specifications, and proactive maintenance of tools and van organization.

Applicants should have 5+ years of installation experience, EPA (NATE preferred), and strong problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license required; physical work involving lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience (Lead preferred).
• Proven leadership ability (for Lead roles).
• EPA Certification (NATE preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and install specifications.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems (condensers, coils, furnaces, air handlers, mini-splits, thermostats, ductwork).
• Act as lead of installation crews, depending on experience level.
• Ensure installs are completed safely, on time, and to spec.
• Perform ductwork installation, sealing, and airflow optimization.
• Handle refrigerants, wiring, zoning systems, and smart technology.
• Maintain van organization, tools, and jobsite cleanliness.
• Train and mentor Installer Helpers (Lead-level roles).
