Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions in Superior, WI is seeking a hands-on Service Manager for a heavy equipment and machinery company. You’ll serve as the primary technical resource for customers and field service teams, driving equipment performance and service excellence in a hands-on industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field, industry certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with hydraulic systems, mobile equipment, heavy equipment, machinery attachments, or related industries
• Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in office, shop, and outdoor job sites
• Valid ability to travel to customer locations, training events, and service sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting and support for customers and field service personnel
• Coordinate service schedules, repair activities, and customer communications
• Process warranty claims and monitor repair progress through completion
• Conduct technical, operational, and maintenance training for customers, dealers, and service technicians
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and product support teams to resolve issues and improve products
• Interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and service documentation to support repairs
• Maintain service records, training documents, and repair procedures while leading service performance discussions
