Job summary

Nuss Truck & Equipment is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service department, driving profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will oversee daily operations, staff, budgets, and ensure service work meets OEM and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include directing scheduling, maintaining records, and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Strong leadership, diesel knowledge, and customer focus are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus and demonstrates diesel knowledge.
• Experience supervising a team in a dealership or service environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the service department to profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and monitor annual operating budget for the service department.
• Schedule daily work assignments and provide technical support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OEM, regulatory standards, and safety policies.
• Coach and develop staff to maximize performance and accountability.
