Job summary

Nuss Truck & Equipment seeks a seasoned Service Manager to lead the service department, ensure profitability, and drive customer satisfaction. You will oversee daily operations, staff, budgeting, and adherence to OEM and regulatory standards while promoting safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include directing daily work, reviewing performance, managing payroll and productivity, and delivering accurate service estimates.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management ability to supervise and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Knowledge of diesel repair processes, service operations, and warranty procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the service department to profitability, productivity, and compliance.
• Direct and schedule daily work for department staff, providing technical support as needed.
• Set and monitor departmental goals, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Foster customer relationships and ensure accurate estimates and timely repair orders.
• Collaborate with Parts leadership to align parts with service demand.
