Job summary

Hawkers Asian Street Food in the St. Pete/Sarasota, FL area is seeking a Service Manager to lead our restaurant team with a focus on profitability, guest service, and staff development.

You will partner with the General Manager to drive sales, manage payroll and schedules, and uphold company standards. This role demands strong communication, leadership, and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of restaurant management experience at a full-service restaurant concept.
• MIT program completion and safe food handlers' certifications.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager to meet sales, revenue, and profitability goals.
• Ensure financial integrity of P&L statements and proper accounting of revenues.
• Safeguard company assets including funds, systems, and equipment.
• Communicate restaurant objectives in meetings and present initiatives.
• Maintain safe, harassment-free working conditions per OSHA and laws.
• Lead shifts effectively and train other leaders.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and EOP administration.
• Respond to guest reviews and engage with guests.
