Job summary

Hawkers Asian Street Food in Saint Petersburg is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and deliver strong financial results while maintaining safety and compliance. You will oversee front-of-house and back-of-house teams, optimize POS and security systems, manage vendor relations, and coach staff to uphold Hawkers standards.

Qualifications

• Lead and achieve sales, revenue and profitability targets.
• Maintain safe working conditions per OSHA and HACCP standards.
• Oversee the integrity of POS and security systems.
• Communicate effectively with leaders, hourly team members and guests.
• Coach and develop team members and Leaders in operations.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales and profitability goals across the restaurant.
• Ensure financial integrity of P&L statements through proper tracking of expenses and revenues.
• Oversee POS and security systems maintenance and operation.
• Work with vendors to keep restaurant equipment in optimal condition.
• Provide leadership to shift teams and develop Operations Managers and MITs.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and payroll administration.
• Address issues from health or internal inspections promptly and professionally.
• Interview applicants and participate in hiring decisions.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and budget goals.
