Qualifications

• Previous experience managing service technicians is required.
• Appliance industry or similar experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with manufacturer warranty claims.
• Knowledge of appliance parts and inventory management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with dispatch or service management software is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and coach appliance service technicians.
• Oversee daily scheduling and dispatch operations.
• Manage manufacturer warranty claims from start to finish.
• Supervise appliance parts ordering, inventory, and returns.
• Improve technician productivity and reduce repeat service calls.
• Develop and enforce service department procedures and standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators and department profitability.
• Handle escalated customer concerns professionally.
• Recruit, train, and develop technicians and service staff.
• Work closely with ownership to improve every aspect of the service department.

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and help us take it to the next level. This is not a position for someone who simply wants to maintain the status quo. We're looking for a leader who has successfully managed technicians, understands appliance service operations, and can improve efficiency, accountability, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
