Solar Refrigeration & Appliance Service, Inc. is seeking a dependable Parts Associate to support service operations by ensuring technicians have the correct parts and maintaining accurate inventory records.

In this full-time role, you will order parts, track shipments, verify deliveries, manage inventory, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely parts availability. Prior experience in parts/inventory is preferred, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts, inventory, purchasing, warehouse, or appliance/HVAC/automotive industries preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Order appliance parts from manufacturers and authorized distributors
• Track parts from order placement through delivery
• Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory and parts records
• Research part availability, substitutions, and backorder status
• Coordinate with service technicians and office staff to ensure timely parts availability
• Return defective or unused parts in accordance with vendor procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized parts room and warehouse
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment

Compensation

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.

You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.

Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
