MobilityWorks in Lee's Summit, MO seeks a Service Manager to oversee the service department, coordinating production, service and maintenance tasks while ensuring quality documentation and warranty processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of automotive repair management experience.
• Proficiency in electrical and/or automotive wiring.

Responsibilities

• Daily review of schedules and coordination of production, service and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate incoming production jobs with sales and notify about scheduling, delivery, and installation demos.
• Review files before installations, including hours, times, alignment, and parts concerns.
• Document serial numbers and complete warranty cards during production.
• Manage customer write-ups and pre-print orders with the service scheduler.
• Monitor stock units and post labor times for ongoing jobs.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and participate in audits.
• Schedule and conduct monthly service meetings with technicians and the general manager.

Here’s what you will be responsible for achieving:

• Daily review of the schedule in SalesForce.


• Scheduling all production, service, and maintenance tasks.


• Coordinating incoming production jobs with the sales team and notifying them about scheduling, delivery, and installation demos.


• Thoroughly reviewing all files before commencing installations, including approving hours, applications, fitting times, alignment requirements, and parts concerns.


• Documenting serial numbers in the files and completing any necessary warranty cards during the production process.


• Managing all aspects of customer write-ups and interactions, including pre-printing orders using the service scheduler.


• Monitoring stock units and daily posting of labor times in DSI for ongoing jobs.


• Ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements and participating in audits.


• Scheduling and conducting monthly service meetings involving all technicians and the general manager.

What you should bring to the table:

• A high school diploma or GED.


• 2-3 years of experience in automotive repair management.


• Proficiency in electrical and/or automotive wiring.


• Exceptional customer service skills and prior experience in this area.
