Job summary

NorthPoint is seeking a Service Manager to oversee maintenance and resident services at our multi-family community. You will lead a small team, respond to work orders, and ensure repairs are completed safely and on time.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and electrical systems, complying with OSHA/EPA regulations, and maintaining high standards of curb appeal and safety while delivering exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team-building experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• On-call availability for after-hours emergencies.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized under pressure.
• EPA Universal HVAC certification for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident service requests are handled promptly.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs to plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and electrical.
• Comply with OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Maintain interior/exterior of the community to exceed living standards.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other laws.
• Any other additional task as required.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure resident service requests are handled in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs to the community including plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and electrical.
• Comply with OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Maintain the exterior/interior of the community to exceed apartment living standards.
• Ensures the community and staff follows Fair Housing regulations nationally/locally and other laws governing Multi-Family operations.
• Any other additional task required

Who You Are

• High School diploma, GED or related experience and/or training
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Excellent leadership and team building skills
• Provide own hand tools and must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices
• Background in excellent customer service.
• Proficient communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills are required
• Able to be on-call to respond to after-hours emergencies.
• EPA Universal HVAC Certified for refrigerant recycling.
• Willing to work weekends and a varied schedule
• Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies
• Excellent attitude, teamwork skills and self-motivated
• Energetic, resourceful, and hands-on individual with a strong service orientation
• Able to approach problems both logically and creatively
• Confident and knowledgeable when interacting with all team members & outside parties
