Job summary

NorthPoint Development LLC is seeking a Make Ready Technician to join our team. You will help prepare apartments for new residents by cleaning, performing light maintenance, and supporting the service team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a customer-service mindset. Weekend work and a collaborative, energetic environment are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or related experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Background in excellent customer service.
• Willing to work weekends and a varied schedule.
• CPO or pool experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the community clean and free of debris in amenity spaces and common areas.
• Assist the Service Team with appliance installations, unit turns and other duties as needed.
• Clean the pool area, remove trash, straighten furnishings, wash deck when needed.
• Service the pool, including checking chemicals and removing debris.
• Maintain the exterior to meet high apartment living standards.
• Replace light bulbs in common areas, breezeways, and buildings.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• High School diploma, GED or related experience and/or training

• Must have a valid Driver’s License

• Background in excellent customer service

• Willing to work weekends and a varied schedule

• CPO or pool experience a plus

• Excellent attitude, teamwork skills and self-motivated

• Energetic, resourceful, and hands-on individual with a strong service orientation

• Able to approach problems both logically and creatively

• Confident and knowledgeable when interacting with all team members & outside parties

• Able to work collaboratively as a team and independently

• Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills are required

• Sensitive to confidential information and matters

• Prior experience in caretaking or janitorial is a plus

• Ability to work in a team environment and help teammates as necessary

• Must be able to carry/ transport items weighing up to 25 pounds

• Daily ascending/descending of stairs and occasionally of ladder to perform work orders

• Must be able to perform work both inside and outside

• Continuous walking and standing

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time

• Must be able to move, bend, squat, stoop, twist, climb stairs and turn to perform day to day
