Job summary

Dave Wright Auto Group in Iowa is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our high-volume service department. You will guide service advisors, train staff, and ensure smooth dispatching and workflow while maintaining excellent customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on accountability and team growth in a fast-paced auto retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow our processes and hold the team accountable to them
• Effectively lead, coach, mentor, and manage service advisors to help them grow
• Provide ongoing training to service department personnel
• Evaluate performance, recognize accomplishments, and hold 1-on-1 meetings with team members
• Motivate and encourage service staff members to reach their full potential
• Maintain above average customer service scores for the department
• Assist guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Retain current service customers and encourage repeat business
• Manage technician dispatching and shop workflow
• Collaborate with other departments in the dealership to accomplish common goals
• Other duties as required
