Job summary

Dave Wright Auto Group in Iowa is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead our high-volume service department and transition from technician to leadership. You will coordinate dispatching, training, and performance coaching to ensure smooth workflow and strong customer service.

The ideal candidate is an experienced technician with excellent communication skills, a team-focused mindset, and the ability to motivate staff while maintaining quality service standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage technician dispatching and shop workflow.
• Follow our processes and hold the team accountable to them.
• Provide ongoing training to service department personnel.
• Evaluate performance, recognize accomplishments, and hold 1-on-1 meetings with team members.
• Motivate and encourage service staff to reach their full potential.
• Maintain above average customer service scores for the department.
• Assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Retain current service customers and encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with other departments to accomplish common goals.
• Other duties as required.
