Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a qualified Service Manager to oversee a service team in our Peoria Office. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality service and support to clients, fostering safety, teamwork, and growth to build client loyalty.

Responsibilities include quotes, scheduling, budgeting, and problem-solving to ensure timely, quality service. A focus on safety and continuous improvement will drive best-practice operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related industry experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or technical training.
• Moderate travel required.

• Quotes and estimates management: review all quoting for repairs, parts, and workforce, ensure client approval.
• Resource management: schedule workforce and purchase equipment, materials and subcontracts; ensure maintenance services are completed timely.
• Work order management: assist technicians with problem solving and delivery of materials to expedite completion.
• Budget management: adhere to budgets, monitor expenses, use dashboards to mitigate financial risk.
• Safety: promote a safety culture, ensure compliance and report concerns.

Job Summary

Oversees and manages a service team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and support to clients. Fosters a culture of safety, teamwork, and growth, ensuring their team delivers service that builds client loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Quotes and Estimates Management: Reviews all quoting for repairs, parts, and workforce. Ensures approval from clients. Reviews proposal writing for new work, presenting proposals, and negotiating contracts.
• Resource Management: Ensures the scheduling of workforce and the purchasing of equipment, materials, and subcontracts. Ensures all scheduled maintenance services are completed timely in the month sold.
• Work Order Management: Assists Service Technicians with technical problem solving and delivery of materials and supplies to expedite job completion with timeliness and quality.
• Budget Management: Adheres to operational budgets to meet financial targets. Monitors and controls expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities. Utilizes available systems and dashboards to mitigate financial risks and minimize accounts receivable.
• Safety: Promotes a culture of safety through continuous coaching, motivation, and setting clear expectations that are aligned to compliance and best practice. Ensures team members comply with policies and procedures, and reports safety concerns to management immediately.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related industry experience, with 0-2 years of service operations leadership experience
• Bachelor's Degree or Technical Training Program Completion
• Moderate Travel
