Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join our technology team. You will be the first point of contact for client and internal technical issues, helping to resolve problems, document solutions, and support desktops and mobile devices across the company.

You’ll collaborate with end-users to troubleshoot, communicate clearly, and escalate when necessary. Candidates should have 3–5 years of tech support experience and an Associate's degree in a related

Responsibilities

• Front-Line Support: Be the first point of contact for client and internal technical issues. Resolve what you can, and route and escalate as needed.
• Ticket Resolution: Keep end-users informed on open tickets, guide them to fast resolutions, and follow up within department timelines.
• Hardware & Software Support: Install, configure, and manage desktop and mobile software; track licenses; troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely.
• Documentation & Reporting: Record needs, requests, issues, and solutions; report regularly on completed work and status of tasks.

This role suits a problem-solver who enjoys being the first call when something breaks and the person who gets it working again. If you like fixing technical issues, communicating clearly with end-users, and supporting teams across a growing company, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Own

• Front-Line Support: Be the first point of contact for client and internal technical issues. Resolve what you can, and route and ...

What You Bring
