Job summary

SCC Saddle Creek Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a warehouse associate to load and unload trailers and railcars, check product, and operate handheld scanners to support warehouse operations.

This role requires forklift experience, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and teamwork to maintain a safe, orderly facility; base pay is $20.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating a forklift (required).
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment (preferred).
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trailers and railcars and transport loads to designated area.
  • Check product on inbound/outbound for accuracy and damage.
  • Use handheld scanners and equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
  • Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Recharge batteries, fill fuel tank, or replace gas tank.
  • Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
  • Follow company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly facility.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor.

Pay and Schedule

Base pay: $20.00 per hour.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm.

  • Capability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work in a non‑temperature controlled warehouse
