Job summary

Montrose Regional Health in Montrose, CO seeks a Service Line Director of Surgical Services to lead strategic, budgetary and operational objectives for the department, coordinating OR, pre-op, PACU, pain clinic, GI suite and scheduling for adults and pediatrics.

The role requires RN with 3+ years, progressive leadership, BLS on hire and ACLS/ENPC/PALS within 9 months; BSN preferred. You will champion patient care, staff development and policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a registered nurse degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience, preferably in acute care or surgical services.
• Progressive management experience required; BLS required upon hire; ACLS or ENPC/PALS required within 9 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, growth, budgetary and operational objectives for the Surgical Services department.
• Coordinate the entire health care team in the Surgical Services Department (OR, pre-op, same day surgery, PACU, pain clinic, infusions, GI suite, pre-admission testing, scheduling).
• Ensure environment for patient care aligns with Mission, Vision and Values; develop policies and systems; uphold staff accountability.
