Job summary

Montrose Regional Health in Montrose, CO seeks a Service Line Director of Surgical Services to lead strategic, growth, budgetary and operational objectives for the department, coordinating the health care team across OR, pre-op, same-day surgery, PACU and related areas.

The role requires RN with Colorado license, 3+ years leadership in acute or surgical settings, and progressive management experience, with mandatory certifications (BLS now; ACLS/ENPC/PALS within 9 months).

Qualifications

• RN with Colorado license and accredited nursing degree.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience with leadership in acute care or surgical services.
• BLS required; ACLS/ENPC/PALS within 9 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational objectives for Surgical Services.
• Coordinate OR, pre-op, same-day surgery, PACU and related services for adults and pediatrics.
• Support staff ethics, legal issues and patient advocacy with clinical leadership.
