Qualifications

• Minimum five years current experience as a perioperative RN in PACU/pre-operative in an acute care hospital.
• Ability to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care provided by staff.
• Bachelor’s degree required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• California RN license required; BLS, ACLS certifications required; CPAN or CAPA preferred within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and provide guidance to staff for problem resolution.
• Ensure staff receive appropriate orientation, training, and maintain competence for the care and services provided.
• Provide supportive training, coaching, performance evaluation, enforce policies and procedures.
• Support quality performance initiatives by ensuring regulatory compliance and data analysis.
• Support financial viability by monitoring expenses, revenue, utilization, and productivity.
