Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Waynesboro, VA is seeking a Service Leader to ensure a safe, quality food and a positive guest experience while keeping the restaurant crew well trained. The role requires standing on the floor, managing line operations, and guiding team members to deliver exceptional service.

You will help monitor food safety, support crew scheduling, and assist with front-of-house training and office tasks as needed. A strong focus on teamwork and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature monitoring, shelf life checks, and Daily Food Safety Checklist adherence.
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork.
• Maintain office equipment and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed.
