Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Edgewater, NJ is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive guest experience by ensuring safe, quality food and training a strong crew. You will keep a clean, organized line with functioning equipment and be ready to jump in when busy to assist with other tasks.

The role requires knowledge of food safety, cash handling, and basic office paperwork, plus a high school diploma and restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department rules.
• Ability to read/write and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature checks, shelf life monitoring, Daily Food Safety Checklist adherence.
• Resolve customer incidents and promote positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with administrative tasks like banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained and available.
