Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food is prepared and served and the restaurant crew is well trained. The role involves keeping a clean, organized line, overseeing line equipment, and guiding crew performance.

Expect to be on your feet and actively contribute when not busy. The position requires knowledge of food safety, cash handling, and restaurant operations, with opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Helping to resolve food quality issues.
• Supporting food safety including hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and following Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies.
• Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Developing and cross training all front of house Crew.
• Assisting with Crew performance reviews.
• Developing future Service Leaders.
• Assisting with office administration duties such as banking and cash handling policies.
