Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to uphold safety and quality in food preparation and to train and supervise crew for excellent customer service. The role requires hands-on leadership, line supervision, and task coordination in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will help with training, shift management, and daily operations while ensuring compliance with cash handling policies and health regulations. A high school diploma and prior restaurant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety practices and health department guidelines.
• Experience handling cash and following cash handling procedures.
• Familiarity with office paperwork and administrative tasks.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served.
• Keep the line clean and organized with working equipment; assist when not busy.
• Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature monitoring, shelf life checks, daily safety checklist.
• Resolve customer incidents and strive for positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules; support training and performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders and assist with office duties as needed.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available and functioning.
