Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to uphold a positive guest experience by ensuring safe, quality food and well-trained restaurant crew. The role requires staying on your feet, maintaining a clean line, and assisting when not busy to complete tasks.

You will support food safety, handle cash policies, supervise breaks and shifts, and contribute to training future Service Leaders. This position centers on delivering great service and high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to: getting great tasting, high quality food served; helping resolve food quality issues; supporting food safety (hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature checks, shelf lives, Daily Food Safety Checklist); helping resolve customer incidents and ensuring positive experiences; monitoring crew breaks, shift changes and line schedules; developing and cross training all front of house Crew; assisting with Crew performance reviews; developing future Service Leaders; assisting with office administration duties (banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork); ensuring office equipment and supplies are maintained.
