Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Service & Installation Coordinator in Southeast Houston to act as the essential liaison between customers and field teams, driving service operations and keeping installations on schedule. You will manage work orders, coordinate installers, and support troubleshooting for electronic equipment.

Responsibilities include ordering equipment, ensuring on-time delivery, and producing quotes/invoices while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching and coordinating service projects.
• Background in electronics installation or maintenance advantageous.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to customer sites.
• Ability to support field technicians with troubleshooting.

SERVICE & INSTALLATION COORDINATOR

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dynamic Service & Installation Coordinator in Southeast Houston. In this impactful and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for serving as a crucial link between customers and field teams, driving service operations, and keeping installations running smoothly.

In a Service & Installation Coordinator job you’ll be responsible for:

• Accepting, processing, and tracking work orders from initial request through to completion and final invoicing
• Coordinating installer schedules and confirming appointments with site contacts, project managers, and field technicians
• Providing phone-based troubleshooting support to technicians for electronic equipment and installation challenges
• Ordering required equipment and verifying timely job-site delivery for scheduled projects
• Collaborating with the Department Manager and Lead Service Technician to consistently exceed customer expectations
• Documenting job activity, maintaining meticulous records across company databases, and managing the service email inbox
• Preparing and issuing accurate quotes and invoices for completed installation and service work

What you’ll need:

• Prior dispatching and technical electronics experience required
• Low-voltage experience preferred (1-2 years)
• Willingness to travel occasionally (10–20%) to customer locations
• Flexibility to work on‑call shifts on a scheduled, rotating basis as required
