Blauch Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Service HVAC Technician to provide top-tier commercial and industrial HVAC service and maintenance in Harrisonburg, VA. This hands-on role emphasizes troubleshooting, repair, and preventive care on chillers, boilers, and related equipment.

You will mentor apprentices, work with field leadership to ensure safety and efficiency, and contribute to a values-driven team that supports ongoing training and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on HVAC service or maintenance experience.
• Solid technical understanding of residential, commercial, or industrial HVAC equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (locally within project boundaries).
• Strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Service specialized equipment including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air rotation units, and water source heat pumps.
• Diagnose system issues efficiently to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high quality standards.
• Mentor entry-level technicians and apprentices through our in-house trade development programs.
• Collaborate with field leadership to maintain daily operational efficiency and project safety standards.

• Schedule: Full-time (4x10s with alternating 4-day weekends), Day shift, On-call rotation every 4 to 8 weeks

• Universal EPA Refrigerant certification and Gas Fitters license.
• Previous exposure to industrial refrigeration systems, hot water boilers, or air-cooled chillers.
