Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Service Engineer Apprentice/Trainee to join the service organization. You will train to repair, install, and relocate machines, and support customer engagements.

The program runs for 2 years before certification and promotion to Service Engineer; travel to customer sites domestically and internationally; strong mechanical curiosity and professional communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic aptitude.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to support service tasks.
• Ability to communicate professionally and build relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally with a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training and development to learn how to repair, install, and move machines.
• Complete required classroom, factory, and online training, including passing coursework with 80% or higher.
• Shadow Service Engineers on service calls by traveling to customer sites and assisting during on-site work.
• Learn through observation and hands-on assistance while supporting service activities during customer engagements.
• Progress through a competency-based apprentice program enrolled for 2 years before certification and promotion to Service Engineer.
